Through my own journey, my heart was pulling me towards educating, supporting and demonstrating compassion to expecting women and their families. At the end of 2015, I began my path in supporting women and partners in this amazing journey to parenthood by becoming a member of Tiny Love Doulas as a certified birth doula.
I strongly feel placenta encapsulation had a profound impact after my second birth and I knew I needed to expand this service to other expecting women. I trained with International Placenta and Postpartum Association in 2016 and became a certified placenta encapsulation specialist and in 2017 I attended a Spinning Babies workshop where I am able to utilize Spinning Babies techniques. Currently I am attending school, working toward a license in midwifery and also taking a course on belly binding (see additional services on belly binding). I have had the privilege of speaking along side two other local doulas at Fresno Barrios Unidos to teen pregnant and parenting mothers about the benefits of doula support.
It is my hope for every mother and partner to experience an empowering birth and wonderful memories of their child's birth day. It is with great pleasure I get to offer my expertise, knowledge and love to families. I always look forward to growing a friendship as we work together to accomplish your birthing goals.
Pregnancy and life is amazing. This pregnancy is your journey and I will support you in an unbiased way. I will make your hopes & dreams, my hopes & dreams. I will not judge you for your decisions nor will I give my opinion. I will provide knowledge, love, patience and understanding. I love babies and families therefore my goal is to help merge your newest family member in a gentle, loving way. I believe that a woman's body can do amazing things (like have a baby!). The knowledge of giving birth lays within every woman.
